World of Warcraft Talent Guide

Some of the talents you have are great for leveling, whereas others help you maximize a character’s PvP prowess. Other talents are also good for end game phases for raids and dungeon quests because some of the trees are created for the purpose for you to perform a specific role better.

Here’s a quick and easy WOW talent guide overview to follow:

Death Knight (DK) – The DK has the blood talent tree that allows the DK to be a better damage dealer and gives him the ability to gain health in various ways. It is because of this tree that makes him great for leveling and tanking.

Also he possesses the frost talent tree that allows him to be a good damage dealer.

The Shadow talent tree gives his tanking ability a boost and allows him to improve his Ghoul pet. In the end you’ll be able to summon a Gargyole if you choose to follow this tree.

Paladin – The Paladin is a unique character as he has the retribution talent tree that gives him the ability to do a lot of damage and fantastic for leveling. You’ll be able to attain new attack methods and this also increases your speed of movement so it helps you improve leveling a lot!

Being a Paladin, you’ll be a great healer for yourself and your team. But this is not very good for leveling. As a protection paladin you’ll be able to fulfill the role of a tank in raids and parties. Using this talent build you’ll be able to improve your leveling ability at average speeds.  

Shaman – The Shaman has an Elemental talent tree that allows them to be a great casting damage dealer. They can do large amounts of damage using lightning and fire based spells and improve their talent tree doing so.
As an Enhancement Shaman, you’ll be able to become more of a Melee Shaman that will have the power to wield two handed weapons. This build is much better for leveling purposes compared to the Restoration talent tree which makes the Shaman a great healer, but really weak for dealing damage and pathetic for leveling.

Priest – The Shadow talent tree is the favorite build for the priest for leveling purposes. It gives the Priest the ability to do some damage which the Holy and Discipline counterparts do not.

The Discipline talent tree is great for Priests who enjoy PvP later on in the game. As you’re a healer it will be really hard for you to be beaten with protective spells. As a Holy Priest you’ll focus on PvE Healing with cool spells such as circle of healing and Guardian Angel.

Warlock – The best talent tree for leveling is Affliction as the focus is on the damage over time spells and fear spells that it allows you to use. The Demonology talent build is great for making the Warlock stronger because it improves the demonic ability of pets and is often combined with the Destruction talent build.

For PvP the Destruction Talent build is great for the end game as it gives the Warlock the power to deal out tons of damage with Immolate, Searing Pain, Chaos, Shadow Bolt and Soulfire spells.
